That's what writer-director Nina Wise told Kimberly Chun, who wrote this week's cover story on "The Kepler Story," Wise's one-man show about the famed astronomer. It's the first of its kind staged at the California Academy of Sciences' Morrison Planetarium. Wise's main challenge, Chun says, came with Digital Sky software, "Which is used in planetariums and is not, as Nina Wise puts it, 'entirely theater friendly.'". Wise says, is that her experience could make things a bit easier for the next person to take on such a show.
